Children are always eager to be calm and serene; they only need the space to step back and reset their emotions. In this secular class, we will learn techniques, mindful movements, and Yoga poses to help their little bodies be active, and their minds relax. We will have time to move and time to listen. We will read books related to Yoga or Mindfulness to help children navigate the vast array of emotions in these tumultuous times, and we will learn to watch those feelings and let them pass. Studies show that children exposed to mindfulness practices demonstrate increased self-reflection, emotional regulation, and the ability to focus on school work.
This is a class for all the family, and parents are welcome to join it.
